What is Tandez Academy Martial Arts? It is a university-level training program that teaches our elite brand of Reality-Based Self-Defense. Tandez Academy Martial Arts offers the top street fight training program in the Bay Area. You'll learn realistic self-defense, boost your self-confidence, get in great shape, and lose weight. Bruce Lee and the Tandez Academy
Bruce Lee is the father of mixed martial arts and the grandmaster of Tandez Academy. He is the founder of our system, Jeet Kune Do. We teach his original art called Jun Fan Gung Fu, which has a philosophy and standard curriculum that combines Western Boxing, Wing Chun, Muay Thai, Judo, and Jujitsu into one. To this, JKD adds Kali, Silat, Wrestling, and and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Bruce Lee's progressive system is the very first mixed martial arts, but designed for the street.
This is an image of SiFu Adrian Tandez, owner and head instructor of the world-famous Tandez Academy. He is a certified instructor in Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Kali Escrima, and Maphilindo Silat under martial arts legend Guro Dan Inosanto. SiFu Tandez has over thirty years of martial arts training and experience.

Owner, founder, & head instructor of Tandez Academy. He has over 29 years of martial arts experience. He is a 3rd generation Jeet Kune Do instructor under the Bruce Lee lineage. He is a certified instructor under Guro Dan Inosanto and SiFu Paul Vunak, and holds several ranks in multiple disciplines.
